Ali Mohammakhan

I am a Ph.D. candidate of Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in University of California, Riverside. I work on various aspects of networks, formal methods, and distributed systems, more recent focusing on Information-Centric and Name-based Networking, advised by Prof. K. K. Ramakrishnan. I obtained my M.Sc. degree Sharif University of Technology in 2014 and my B.Sc. degree from University of Tehran in 2012 in Iran.

I am a Ph.D. candidate at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of California, Riverside. My research focuses on effective use of GPU in supporting different kind of Machine learning (ML) and Deep Neural Network (DNN) applications in network setting. I am advised by Professor K. K. Ramakrishnan.

I am currently a graduate student at the University of California Riverside where I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science under the supervision of Prof. K. K. Ramakrishnan in the UCR Networks, Systems and Security Lab. My current research focus is on efficient transport protocols for the Internet of Things and integration of IoT with edge computing.
